President William Harrison Dollar

U.S. Presidential dollar coins were minted for circulation 2007 – 2011. Year of minting, mint mark, 13 stars, and “E Pluribus Unum” (Out of many, one) are inscribed into these coins’ edges. It’s the first time since St. Gaudens Double Eagle (1907–1933) the United States issued a coin with edge lettering!

This is a “2009-P” (Philadelphia) coin sold in About Uncirculated condition (AU-50).

William Henry Harrison was the 9th president of the United States of America. 1841 signifies the year he entered office. Harrison’s term lasted 31 days. He died in office from pneumonia or typhoid.
