President John Adams Dollar

U.S. Presidential dollar coins were minted for circulation 2007 – 2011. Year of minting, mint mark, 13 stars, and “E Pluribus Unum” (Out of many, one) are inscribed into these coins’ edges. It’s the first time since St. Gaudens Double Eagle (1907–1933) the United States issued a coin with edge lettering!

This is a “2007-P” (Philadelphia) coin sold in Very Choice About Uncirculated condition (AU-58).

John Adams was the 2nd president of the United States of America. 1797-1801 signify the years he held office. Adams lived in France and Holland during the Revolution America.
