Jamie Bestwick Trading Card

Jamie Bestwick is an English BMX rider who won 14 gold medals at the X Games. Riding his bike was his way of hanging out with friends and he only competed in events for fun; he thought he’d make a career of engineering for Rolls-Royce. Jamie quit his job in 1996 to compete in the X Games, ending Dave Mirra’s Vert reign, and won a gold medal by 2000. Ten years after competing he won every competition he entered and also won a Laureus World Sports Award for Action Sportsperson of the Year. In 2014 Bestwick spoke at Yale University!
