Pendelfin

PenDelfin, hand-painted stonecraft, was created the day Queen Elizabeth the Second was crowed in 1953 in a garden hut beside an apple tree. The name is a fusion of Pendle Hill, where creators Jeannie Todd and Jean Walmsley Heap lived, and “elfin” because every Department Head promoted from the original production staff is a REGISTERED WITCH. Each piece takes 6-18 steps to paint with Curiosity Shop taking one painter 4 days to complete, each piece was produced by hand while the figurines were still in production, and each piece is an “individual”. Collectors created the global market for Pendelfin figurines; some pieces resold for thousands of dollars while models were still being invented!
