Wade Boggs‘ mother said, “It seemed like he was born to hit just like some kids are born to play the piano.” And, after playing as an MLB third baseman for 11-years from 1982 – 1999 and in the 1986 World Series, Boggsy had a .328 career batting average and a .415 on-base percentage. In 1989 the AL All-Star third baseman scored 113 runs for Major League Baseball‘s Boston Red Sox. In 2007 Boggs inducted his wrestler friend Curt Hennig into the WWE Hall of Fame.
