Nolan Ryan, nicknamed “The Ryan Express“, was a Major League Baseball pitcher. He is considered the best MLB pitchers ever. Ryan pitched over 100-miles per hour and a 12-6 curveball. His lifetime record is 324–292 and he’s an 8-time All-Star. He holds the career record for 5,714 strikeouts, averaging over one per inning pitched! Ryan pitched seven no-hitters. And at least three MLB teams Nolan Ryan pitched for retired his number.
