James Paul “Jimbo” Covert was on offensive tackle in the National Football League for eight seasons. Covert was chosen in the NFL Draft sixth overall by Chicago Bears head coach Mike Ditka. In 1985 Covert was selected to the Pro Bowl and the Chicago Bears won Super Bowl XX. Ditka said. “You don’t get too many people who come along who can make that impact.” This original is the Covert ©1984 Topps rookie card #222 (rc).
