Series 641 ten cent U.S. military payment certificate (MPC). Circulated note issued between August 31st, 1965 and October 21st, 1968 to US military personnel in Vietnam. To limited currency arbitrage MPCs were issued as payment in foreign countries and, when soldiers left, could be converted to U.S. dollars or local currency. Series 641 10¢ notes show a woman on their face and an eagle on the reverse.
