Sylvanian

A line of collectible anthropomorphic figurines created in 1985 by the Japanese company Epoch made of flocked plastic. A Sylvanian Families™ animated series ran in 1987. And, under Tomy®, Sylvanian Families won British “Toy of the Year” in 1987, 1988 and 1989. In the Hulu comedy series PEN15 lead characters Maya and Anna, American middle school students in the early 2000s, regularly play with Sylvanian toys!
